Part 2 of go nutty ..... Nutty cereal bars

Yum scrummy nutty cereal bars can be enjoyed at anytime of the day and are great for lunch boxes, a quick breakfast or snack. Get your parents to help you make them and enjoy all their healthy yumminess!!


What you will need:
A big mixing bowl, wooden spoon, microwave, tablespoon, scales, small shallow baking tray

Ingredients:
4tbsps honey or golden syrup
3tbsps butter or margarine
75g plain flour
75g cornflakes/frosties
2tbsps dessicated coconut
2tbsps chopped hazelnuts
2tbsps raisins
2tbsps pumpkin seeds
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

What to do:
Get an adult to pre-heat the oven to 200oC
Melt in the microwave the butter and honey or syrup
Stir in all the other ingredients
Press into a greased shallow tin
Cook in the oven for 20 minutes
Take out allow to cool then cut into snack sized chunks
